This is a Dual MOSFET array DIY Portable 12V Spot Welding PCB Circuit Board. This Circuit contains an Electronic Welding Module with 8 MOSFETS for spot welding from 0.1mm to 0.15mm Nickel Strips (some customers said a 0.2 mm thickness can be welded by replacing a thicker wire (10 square feet)). Spot welding is done by the principle of rapid local heating and cooling faster using high current. The MOSFETs act as a fast switch that will detect and turns OFF Fastly. This Product is compact and portable and durable that it can easily carry anywhere.

Description

This is a Dual MOSFET array DIY Portable 12V Spot Welding PCB Circuit Board. This Circuit contains an Electronic Welding Module with 8 MOSFETS for spot welding from 0.1mm to 0.15mm Nickel Strips (some customers said a 0.2 mm thickness can be welded by replacing a thicker wire (10 square feet)). Spot welding is done by the principle of rapid local heating and cooling faster using high current. The MOSFETs act as a fast switch that will detect and turns OFF Fastly. This Product is compact and portable and durable that it can easily carry anywhere.

This product is a DIY and suitable for enthusiasts who wants to make simple custom battery packs.

Specifications:

  • Supply voltage: 12V-16.8V (capacity X rate = must be greater than 150A)
  • Current requirements: A Good 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery with 40C/80C Rating (176Amp max Discharge Rate), or a good car starter power supply with higher capacity above 170Ah. To calculate the suitable battery multiply the Ah with C-Rating. Eg. 2200mAh (2.2Ah), 80C battery will deliver (2.2Ah x 80 = 176 Amps). Few Amps above this also work, but it will create a hole in the strip due to higher Amps, to overcome this you can drain the battery up to a specific level and use it (do not drain LiPo batteries below its rated voltage as it will make the battery permanently unusable).
  • Button function: The button can switch modes. Each mode corresponds to different welding time. The LED corresponds to red/green/blue/white/yellow/powder/purple, 7 modes, the shortest red time and the largest purple welding time. Long press to set the waiting time, the default is 3 seconds, the maximum can be set to 10 seconds. Please keep starting from low to higher modes for until required level safety, otherwise the module or the nickel strip gets damaged.

Note:
1. The 18650 battery cannot be used as a power supply (or it should be above 12V 150Ah). It must have a high C Rating RC battery or a car battery!

2. For thick nickel strips (0.2mm), the modes should be adjusted as required.
